 Our Club's Monthly Dances

Where: Sports West Athletic Club, 1575 South Virginia, corner of Virginia Street and Mount Rose St. (not Mount Rose Highway).  We play about 70% West Coast Swing Music with a balance of Classic and New, and 30% other music, such as Cha Cha, Night Club 2-Step, Hustle, Country 2-Step, etc.

When: Second Saturday of each month.  Lessons: 7:00-8:00pm. Basic Swing lesson; free. Intermediate Swing; $5 members $10 guests.
Open Dancing: 8:00-11:00pm. $7 members (of any Swing Dance Club), $10 guests.

We need volunteers to help setup for our monthly dances. We need you to arrive at 6:30 PM. We need help to wipe down and move chairs from the trailer to the dance floor. We also need everyone to help clean up the garbage at the end of the dance, and move chairs and tables back out to the trailer. Thank you for being considerate members of the club.

 Mark Simpkins will teach a free beginner lesson.
 Katherine Krok-Eastvold will teach an Intermediate West Coast Swing lesson. See flyer.
 Katherine will be available for private lessons. Contact Kim Blume at 925-918-4134 if you would like to schedule a private. DJ will be Steve Dorman.
 
 Saturday, October 2rd
 Date change due to Boogie Convention
 Rainer Herm will teach a free beginner lesson.
 Tony & Marina Gutsch will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson.

 Saturday, November 13th
 Jeffrey Munson will teach a free beginner lesson.
 Martin and Susan Brown will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson.
