We usually start dancing at 8 PM at John Ascuaga's Nugget's Trader Dicks Lounge. The DJ plays great music for dancing. (Warning - Several dancers have had coats, purses, or shoes stolen at the Nugget, while dancing.) |

Where: Sports West Athletic Club, 1575 South Virginia, corner of Virginia Street and Mount Rose St. (not Mount Rose Highway). We play about 70% West Coast Swing Music, and 30% other music, such as Cha Cha, Night Club 2-Step, Hustle, Country 2-Step, etc. When: Second
Saturday of each month. Lessons: 7:00-8:00pm. Basic Swing lesson;
free. Intermediate Swing; $5 members $10 guests. We need volunteers to help setup for our monthly dances. We need you to arrive at 6:30 PM. We need help to wipe down and move chairs and tables from the trailer to the dance floor. We also need everyone to help clean up the garbage at the end of the dance, and move chairs and tables back out to the trailer. Thank you for being considerate members of the club. Thank you to all the members that helped at the previous dances!!! Future Dance Dates for 2008: May 10th 2008 - Jim & Donna Ewing will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson. Michele Malchow will be the DJ. Steve Dorman will teach the free Beginning WCS lesson. June 14th 2008 - Dani Canziani will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson. Ron Wilder will be the DJ. July 12th 2008 - Mark & Kim Blume will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson. Joel Johnson will be the DJ. Jeffery Munson will teach the free Beginning WCS lesson. August 9th 2008 - Mark Simpkins will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson. Joel Johnson will be the DJ. Jeffery Munson will teach the free Beginning WCS lesson. September 13th 2008 - Liz Wilder will teach a Hustle lesson. Ron Wilder will be the DJ. Jeffery Munson will teach the free Beginning WCS lesson. October 11th 2008 - Theresa McGarry will teach an intermediate West Coast Swing lesson. Will Fugii will be the DJ. November 1st 2008 - (Original Date changed because it conflicts with Mountain Magic) Instructor to be announced. Will Fugii will be the DJ. December 13th 2008 - Pot Luck Christmas dinner. No Lesson. Joel Johnson will be the DJ.
