Welcome to the Biggest Little Swing Dance Club
Inc. website!
BLSDC has been an active swing dance club in
the city of Reno for over 10 years. Christine Hendricksen, Jo Ann Grace,
Wil Fuji, and Tim Renner were the club's founders.
Membership has hovered around 100 with dance
attendance ranging from 60 to 90 members. Last year, through the efforts
of Jim Ewing, the club was incorporated.
Our mission is to promote West Coast Swing
dancing. We have a dance on the second Saturday of every month (see
details elsewhere on this site), provide dance lessons to our members and
others, inform members of dance spots that play our kind of music, promote
dance convention attendance and encourage dancers from other clubs and the
public to attend our dances. Certainly our primary purpose is to put on a
quality dance every month.
If you are new to dance, come by and take our
free lesson, you may discover a new interest. If you are a dance veteran,
come by and dance with some great people.
On behalf of the membership, I would like to
invite all who dance, to come and dance with us.
