BLSDC, the Biggest Little Swing Dance Club, pronounced "Ballistic", is a club that promotes West Coast Swing dancing in the Reno area. The club originated in February of 1995, but was unofficially formed almost two years earlier. The original founders were Wil Fujii, Tim Renner, Christine Hendricksen and JoAnn Grace. The official "Going Ballistic" kick-off dance was on Feb 25th, 1995, and was held at the Reno Recreation Center, now called the McKinley Arts & Culture Center, off Keystone Ave. The dance was a hit and the club continues to grow over the past 17 years because of the members who support it.
We hold our monthly dance at the Sparks Heritage Museum, at 814 Victorian Ave in Sparks. Join us for a free beginner lesson or take the Intermediate lesson from our amazing instructors. We encourage you to bring friends and family to learn together!
